Tony BatesCORE Education invites you to attend a symposia on e-learning in education and training with International keynote speaker:

Dr Tony Bates an internationally recognised authority on e-learning and learning technologies.
Tony will provide insights into the current trends in e-learning and learning technologies internationally and their impact on vocational education and training.

He will also comment on current New Zealand activities and address a range of issues associated with e-learning resources and learning technologies in education on and off the Web.Tony Bates is President and CEO of Tony Bates Associates Ltd, a private company specialising in consultancy and training in the planning and management of e-learning and distance education

Tony has an extensive background in e-learning and distance education in both the public and private sector. He has worked as a consultant in over 30 countries. Clients include the World Band, OECD, UNESCO, national ministries of education, and several U.S state higher education commissions.

Dr Bates will present a day long workshop in Christchurch from 10am-4.15pm on Wednesday, 24 September
