Gina Revill

Gina's main focus in 2008 is Education for Enterprise (E4E), an initiative which seeks to foster enterprising qualities in students.
She is contracted by:
- Outside the Square, the youth enterprise initiative of the Canterbury Development Corporation, on the Enterprise Champions Network project.
- Development West Coast's E4E project
For both projects, she works with teachers in secondary schools to assist them to develop their teaching practice to allow students more opportunities to demonstrate enterprising qualities, such as resilience, problem solving, creativity and a 'can-do' attitude.
Other projects include working with the Ministry of Education's Group Special Education department to help create and nurture an online community, and tutoring an MA paper for the UK's Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, (SSAT) in conjunction with Middlesex University.
Gina has recently returned to New Zealand, after a stint in the UK working for Ultralab (now CORE UK). There she worked on a project developing a wholly online degree based on action research and reflection rather than content. The project was a huge success and garnered Gina’s enthusiasm for delightful and effective online learning. In addition to the online degree project Gina co-ordinated research outputs at Ultralab and is now a valuable addition to CORE’s research team.
