Jane Nicholls

Jane has been an educator for over 15 years, working in primary schools in both Australia and New Zealand. Jane has also spent time as an ICT Facilitator for two clusters in Dunedin. In 2006 she was awarded the Inspired Teacher Scholarship for innovation in visual language teaching from Inspiration Software. In 2007 Jane was awarded an E-Learning Fellowship from the Ministry of Education where her association with CORE Education began. Jane is continuing her interest in education research by completing doctoral studies in the area of online professional learning.

Originally from Perth, Australia, Jane now lives in Dunedin with her husband and three children. Jane has admitted to being addicted to her computer, one of the last things she does before she goes to bed at night is read blogs! She is also a keen runner and is heavily involved in Habitat for Humanity in her area.
