Malaysian Opportunity for Experienced Educators

CORE Education is a member of iNZed International Group Ltd. We welcome expressions of interest from educators who would like to join our team to work on a three-year Professional Learning and Development project in the Northern States of Malaysia. The primary focus of the project is on transforming teachers and school leaders in their teaching practice and programmes of learning, aligned to the Malaysian Ministry of Education goals.

Innovative New Zealand Education (iNZed) represents New Zealand’s leading educational thinkers and innovators; CORE Education Ltd., CWA New Media, Heurisko and Learning Media Ltd. Together we have been actively engaged in transforming New Zealand education for over a decade, interacting at government, district and school level both nationally and internationally to achieve lasting evidence-based outcomes.

Our current activities include the defining of strategies to focus whole system innovation, from early childhood to post secondary and life-long learning, along with professional learning and development, and mentoring teachers to adapt to new methodologies of pedagogy to enhance learning.

The Malaysian project involves a cluster-based programme of professional learning. The iNZed team will comprise high quality, experienced New Zealand educators who have expertise in number of areas including ICTPD facilitation, teacher professional learning and development, teaching English as a second language, school leadership, assessment for learning, and virtual field trips.

It is anticipated that the three-year project will commence in January 2009. At this stage we are inviting interested educators to register an expression of interest. If you would like to find out more about working with us on this project please contact  the iNZed  Malaysian Project Director;
