Suzie Vesper

Suzie has been teaching in the primary sector for the last 14 years including two and a half years as a specialist ESOL teacher in London. She has been an ICT lead teacher in two schools which led to her becoming a facilitator for the Petone Foreshore ICT Cluster in 2006. She joined CORE in June 2008.

Suzie has a passion for using new technologies to enhance and transform teaching and learning and maintains a number of online spaces that support educators to do this in their own classroms. At CORE, Suzie has two roles: she is the national ICT PD facilitator for 13 clusters in the Auckland region also responsible for technical support in the ICT PD and ECE PD PL Online areas.

Suzie lives with husband Corey in Petone with a wonderful view over Wellington Harbour. She has a passion for art house movies and spends far too much money during the annual film festival. She can also wield a pool stick and spends countless hours staying in touch with her different online networks (to her husband's disgust!)
