Tara Fagan

Prior to joining CORE, Tara was a lecturer for The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand and tutor for Victoria University. She has also continued her involvement with Playcentre by facilitating the occasional workshop. She is in the final stages of completing a Masters of Education.

Tara is passionate about quality education for children she is excited about being part of the ECE ICT PL programme and the benefits that this brings to family, whanau, teachers and most importantly the children.

Home for Tara is currently Wellington but she still calls Rakaia in Canterbury home. She lives in Wellington with her three children - two sons aged 11 and 9 and a daughter aged 6. All of the children enjoy sport and a good part of Tara's weekend is spent at the sports field. She enjoys catching up with friends over a nice glass of wine though this doesn't happen often enough for her liking. She is willing to give most things a go and enjoys supporting the Crusaders especially when they play in Wellington! Tara loves the sun, sand and beach and racing along with the children on boogie boards.
