 <title>Hawkes Bay Regional Facilitator, Early Childhood Education ICT professional learning programme (contract position) </title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;We are seeking expressions of interest for a regional facilitator in Hawkes Bay to work in an Early Childhood Education Information and Communication Technology Professional Learning programme.  The successful applicant (a qualified teacher) will work with up to 10 teaching teams.  The position involves visiting the centres, facilitating workshops and regional hui, contributing to an online community and associated administration.  Some travel is required. We are looking for a person with an understanding of ECE curriculum and pedagogy, facilitation and action research, rather than simply ICT expertise &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Malaysian Opportunity for Experienced  Educators</title>

We welcome expressions of interest from educators who would like to  join our team to work on a three-year Professional Learning and Development  project in the Northern States of Malaysia. The primary focus of the project  is on transforming teachers and school leaders in their teaching practice and  programmes of learning, aligned to the Malaysian Ministry of Education  goals.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Innovative New Zealand Education  (iNZed) represents New Zealand’s leading educational thinkers and innovators;  CORE Education Ltd., CWA New Media, Heurisko and Learning Media Ltd. Together  we have been actively engaged in transforming New Zealand education for over a  decade, interacting at government, district and school level both nationally  and internationally to achieve lasting evidence-based  outcomes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Our current activities include the  defining of strategies to focus whole system innovation, from early childhood  to post secondary and life-long learning, along with professional learning and  development, and mentoring teachers to adapt to new methodologies of pedagogy  to enhance learning.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Malaysian project involves a  cluster-based programme of professional learning. The iNZed team will comprise  high quality, experienced New Zealand educators who have expertise in number  of areas including ICTPD facilitation, teacher professional learning and  development, teaching English as a second language, school leadership,  assessment for learning, and virtual field trips.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is anticipated that the three-year project will commence in January 2009. At this stage we are inviting interested educators to register an expression of interest.
